We are the organisation in Finland for the open canoeist.
Welcome to our home page.
The Finnish Open Canoe Association was established in 2001 to promote the open canoe in Finland.
We are an independent organisation and provide a common forum for all open canoe paddlers to share experiences and to learn more.
Our main focus is to organise events throughout the paddling season for paddlers at every level. We offer information and training in the open canoe and provide contacts to other open canoe paddlers in the country. Our members include experts in various canoe disciplines.
We also welcome international contacts and members.
Please note, however that we do NOT provide tourist & travel information.
Our motto is to have fun safely on the water.
In this land of 180 000 lakes the potential is endless...
